Job Description
• Support the Division Controller with day to day financial operations focused on profitability, cost control, and operational finance
• Review house profit analyses and monitor gross margins on sales contracts
• Analyze job costs, budget variances, and invoice or cost code discrepancies; resolve issues with internal teams
• Assist with month end close, including limited journal entries and accruals
• Track cash activity, including bank deposits and cash receipts
• Process property tax payments and monthly amortization
• Monitor fixed asset purchases, capitalization, and depreciation
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad hoc financial analyses and management reports
• Support budgeting, due diligence reconciliations, and monthly/quarterly project reviews
• Serve as a financial steward for the division, supporting ethical practices, process improvement, and sound decision making
• Act as a point of contact for vendor inquiries
