Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Determining the confidentiality, integrity, quality, technical, health and safety aspect of the company.
  • To assist the Lab Manager / Senior Chemist in all aspects of work in the respective section.
  • To carry out testing on all aspects of work and calibration of equipment in the respective section when necessary.
  • Assist in or perform reagent preparation and standardization of standard solutions.
  • Perform result entry, QC checks, inventory maintenance, basic equipment calibration & maintenance.
  • Maintain of all equipment and testing records in the respective section.
  • General laboratory work like housekeeping, sample receipt and registration, preparation of sample bottles and helping to maintain cleanliness of laboratory, equipment and apparatus.
  • To highlight abnormalities and discrepancies in the testing, calibration and results.
