Job Description

Summary

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Assembler will assemble to documentation set and to company quality standards within a specific time frame. Work is performed under direct supervision in a Production environment within our Bedford facility.

As an Assembler, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible and accountable for producing quality work to prescribed standards, with a focus on continuous improvement to meet customer commitments on schedule and within budget

  • Assembling, modifying, reworking, and repairing electronic and electrical assemblies

  • Work from documentation set including wiring and assembly drawings, work instructions, and engineering specs

  • Repetitive electrical assembly and subassembly using hand tools, including powered, solder irons and wire crimpers

  • Wire preparation, crimping and soldering lugs, basic wire connection
