dormakaba is seeking a temporary Assembler 2 based in Montreal. The Assembler 2 is responsible for the assembly, the visual inspection, the testing and the packing of the mechanical locks as per established instructions.

Hourly Rate

$17.67 - $18.70 /hour

What You Will Do

• Prepare the assembly station as indicated on the production order slip
• Assemble lock components by accurately positioning parts according to assembly instructions, using hand tools or manual/electric tools such as screwdrivers
• Perform functional testing of locks to verify correct operation according to specifications
• Perform repairs on defective locks by disassembling, reassembling, and replacing components as needed; identify defective components and complete Rejection Reports
