Job Description

Functieomschrijving


  • Je wordt tewerkgesteld in de dienst orthopedie en traumatologie waar je instaat voor verschillende behandeltechnieken van gewrichtsaandoeningen.

  • Je neemt zelfstandig consultaties op omtrent basis traumatologie en je neemt adequate beslissingen in samenspraak met Assistent Specialist in Opleiding (ASO).

  • Je staat in voor de organisatie van locomotorische trauma's in het UZ Gent en dit in nauwe samenwerking met de spoedgevallendienst en het kliniekhoofd traumatologie.

  • Je staat in voor traumaraadpleging binnen de dienst orthopedie-traumatologie.

  • Je bent mede verantwoordelijk in de opleiding van de ASO orthopedie voor het aspect traumatologie.

  • Je staat in voor de zorg voor de gepolytraumatiseerde patient in nauwe samenwerking met alle betrokken disciplines.

  • Je wordt ingezet voor de orthopedische wachtdienst en neemt deel aan stafvergaderingen.
