Oncology Urgent Care Advanced Practice Provider (APP)βwhich includes Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs)βis responsible for the rapid assessment and management of acute complications in cancer patients. This role aims to provide specialized care for treatment-related toxicities and disease-related emergencies, thereby reducing unnecessary Emergency Department (ED) visits and hospital admissions.
