Job Description
Role purpose
The Apprentice – Tier 1 Payroll will support first-line employee pay queries and core payroll administration activities under close supervision, ensuring a consistent and high-quality service to employees while learning end-to-end payroll and HR Tier 1 processes in line with GSK standards and local regulations. This role is part of GSK’s Early Talent offering for apprentices, with a structured plan, mentoring and on-the-job learning aligned to the apprentice’s field of study.
Key responsibilities
Handle Tier 1 payroll queriesfrom employees (e.g. missing pay, tax code differences, time entries, allowances) using standard Tier 1 guidance, resolving where possible and escalating to Payroll/Data Management only when needed.
Verify data in Workday(e.g. new joiner details, payment elections, leave status, allowances) before raising or redirecting tickets, following cut-off timelines.Run and save...
