Job Description

To lead in the detail design of complex fire, flame & gas detection system projects in the Oil & Gas, Chem/Petrochem, Clean Energy, and other Industrial markets within the USA & Canada. The job includes, but is not limited to; bidding, designing, executing, and closing the projects within the cost, time, and quality constraints and in compliance with applicable codes and standards.

  • Provide technical support and continuity with Dräger’s manufacturing reps, regional sales teams, business development team, and end users regarding fire and gas detection system designs.
  • Remain current with applicable Fire, Gas and Process Safety industry codes and standards such as NFPA 70, NFPA 72, FM , UL, ISA -29, ISA 84 and others.
  • Responsible for reading and interpreting construction documents/drawings and technical specifications to design and bid fire & gas system projects which will utilize various forms of detection and annunciation devices (fire/flame, gas, smoke,...
