About the Role

As an Application Support Engineer, you will be part of the team responsible for supporting the operational environment for the Balance Sheet Risk and Securitisation streams at Westpac. This includes daily operations of the High‑Performance Computing solution used to measure, report, and analyse Balance Sheet Risk outcomes: Interest Rate Risk, Transfer Pricing, Cost of Funds and Hedge Accounting supporting predominantly Treasury customers. Ensure smooth daily operations and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

Responsibilities

• Support DevOps pipelines using Azure DevOp, Bitbucket, and Jenkins tools to run deployments.
• Provide and maintain up to date documentation.
• Engage with internal NZ engineering teams and the Australia Westpac team, as well as external vendors, to resolve and prevent issues.
