AOPA Pre-Board Mentoring Program: Call for Expressions of Interest

The Australian Orthotic Prosthetic Association (AOPA) invites members and associated individuals to express their interest in participating in the third annual Pre-Board Mentoring Program. This program provides a unique opportunity to gain insights into AOPA governance, board functions, and the roles and responsibilities of a board member.

Participants will engage in three interactive sessions, covering key topics such as:

- Board function and director expectations

- Legal and ethical responsibilities

- Financial literacy and operational oversight

- AOPA structure, operations and planning processes

- Board communication and procedural frameworks

The program will conclude with an invitation to observe an AOPA Board meeting.
