About the Role

We are seeking an Anatomical Pathologist to join the team at Health New Zealand, Te Tai Tokerau. The role involves providing laboratory and consultative services in Anatomical Pathology, including general pathology, dermatopathology, gastrointestinal (GIT), urogenital, head and neck, and breast pathology. The pathologist will also perform occasional frozen sections and may be engaged in performing coronial autopsies if accreditation and service requirements are met.

About the Team & Location

Our established team of four pathologists provides comprehensive service coverage across the Northland region. The area enjoys a warm climate, excellent schools, affordable housing, and scenic coastal areas. It is a two‑hour drive or a 25‑minute flight from the international hub of Auckland.
