The Opportunity

We are recruiting an experienced Analytical Engineer for one of South Africa's leading banking institutions.

This is not a traditional Data Engineering role.

We are specifically looking for someone with deep expertise in Data Modelling , SQL , Data Vault 2.0 , and the ability to transform complex business requirements into trusted, analytics-ready data products.

You will work closely with Business, Data Engineering, Architecture and Analytics teams to design governed data models, validate enterprise data and deliver high-quality datasets that support reporting, advanced analytics and strategic decision making.

If your experience is primarily Power BI development, software development, infrastructure engineering or database administration, this role will not be suitable.
