- Review and validate loan applications and supporting documentation. - Analyze customer financial position, employment history, and creditworthiness. - Assess customer repayment capacity and lending eligibility. - Apply the 4 C's of Credit during underwriting and validation processes. - Ensure compliance with responsible lending obligations and regulatory requirements. - Conduct risk analysis and fraud detection activities for mortgage applications. - Review Loan-to-Value Ratio (LVR) and property valuation reports. - Evaluate mortgage insurance guidelines and lending policies. - Communicate with brokers, lenders, and external stakeholders for clarification and resolution. - Support loan approval or decline decisions based on risk assessment outcomes. - Maintain accuracy, quality, and compliance throughout the underwriting lifecycle. - Ensure adherence to APRA, ASIC, and international lending regulations.
