Job Description
- Performs routine QC testing on raw materials and finished products using basic instrumentation techniques (e.g., HPLC, UPLC, UV-VIS) and other analytical equipment, following established regulations (GMP and ICH).
- Assists in investigating analytical method failures under the guidance of the Scientific Officer and/or Laboratory Manager, contributing to root cause analysis when needed.
- Conducts USP Compendial testing and other standard compendial tests as required, focusing on routine or specific tests under supervision.
- Documents laboratory activities and maintain records in appropriate logbooks, files, and equipment calibration logs.
- Operates basic laboratory equipment, such as balances, pH meters, hardness testers, Karl Fischer titrators, and dissolution baths, in accordance with laboratory SOPs.
- May assist in reviewing peer QC analyst work before submission to Quality Assurance.
