Te Whatu Ora Waitematā provides healthcare to the northern and western regions of Auckland, and is the largest health district by population in New Zealand. Our primary site is North Shore Hospital, located in the seaside suburb of Takapuna, less than 10 km from Aucklands city centre. We are a major metropolitan teaching hospital with an ANZCA-credentialled anaesthesia department, operating across two campuses with 28 operating rooms. Alongside strong clinical, academic, and teaching credentials, our department is recognised for its welcoming, collegial, and inclusive culture.
