  • Anaesthetist, Permanent Full Time
  • Our Anaesthetic and Intensive Care services are of high quality and are progressive.
  • Bring your anaesthesia skills to the mountain biking capital of New Zealand!

    • About the Role

  • Specialist anaesthetists also provide comprehensive services in acute pain, birthing, MRI, Pre Assessment Clinic, respond to trauma calls, and provide clinical management of a robust Intensive Care Unit (7 beds).
  • The Anaesthetic Service provides elective day stay services and a Pre-Admission clinic in Taupo Hospital on a weekly basis.

    • About the Team/Service/Location

  • Rotorua is a busy district hospital covering a wide range of regional hospital specialties.
  • Surgical Services runs one acute and 4 elective theatres a day.
  • You’ll be joining a team of anaesthetists that provide high quality care and are progressive.
