The role as Alto Lay Clerk

This is an exciting opportunity for a professional musician to join Canterbury Cathedral Choir as an Alto Lay Clerk and to become part of the musical life of Canterbury Cathedral.

Lay Clerks sing at Evensong on five or six days per week, and at Eucharist on Sunday mornings. They are also required to sing at major Christian festivals, including Christmas, Easter and Pentecost, and take part in broadcasts, recordings and concerts. Regular singing lessons are provided.
