The **Airworthiness Specialist** will support the Sensors Plans & Advanced Programs Division (RYZ) by assisting in the planning, development, and execution of the AFRL programs requiring airworthiness assessments, policy, and training and safe-to fly determinations.

**Responsibilities**

+ Assist in planning, development, and execution of Airworthiness certification processes to support aircraft systems and subsystems.
+ Support the planning, development, and execution of airworthiness assessments, policy, and training and safe-to-fly determinations.
+ Document and track each AFRL Airworthiness flight test project and draft military flight releases or Civil Aircraft Operations letters for each AFRL program.
