Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a AIRCRAFT PROPELLER MECHANIC, Position Description Number D0710000 and is part of the CO Army Aviation Support Facility, National Guard. This position performs maintenance, removal, installation, inspection, troubleshooting and testing of aircraft rotor and propeller systems. Responsibilities Tests and troubleshoots aircraft rotor and/or propeller systems using special tools and test equipment. Diagnoses any malfunctions of rotor/propeller systems and makes necessary repairs. Performs troubleshooting of the powertrain systems using special tools and test equipment, diagnoses any system malfunctions and makes necessary repairs. Subjects rotor, propeller, and powertrain parts to a variety of nondestructive testing to identify imperfections not otherwise detected.
