Position Overview

The Aircraft Maintenance Engineer performs first and second line aircraft maintenance on the Cormorant Helicopter in support of our Canadian Search and Rescue operations. Duties include servicing, inspection, removal, cleaning, repair, installation, adjustment, flight testing and certification of aircraft mechanical, structural and electrical systems and components, and ground support equipment.

What You Will Do

• Perform first and second level maintenance on aircraft mechanical, structural and electrical systems and components, and ground support equipment.
• Ramp duties including pre and post flight inspection, marshalling, parking, towing, fueling/defueling and installation/removal of mission equipment and crash and salvage response.
• Perform ground runs of auxiliary power units, where qualified and authorized.
