Job Description

AI Engineer – Azure / GenAI / Agentic Systems

6-month initial contract | £550–625/day (all-in) | Liverpool (hybrid)


We’re working with a client who are building out their AI capability from the ground up and are looking to bring in their first AI Engineer to take ownership of initial use cases and shape the direction of travel.


This is a genuinely greenfield opportunity – you’ll be the go-to for AI delivery, working closely with the business to identify, design and build solutions end-to-end.


The role

  • Owning delivery of early-stage AI and GenAI use cases

  • Working directly with business stakeholders to define and shape opportunities

  • Designing and building end-to-end solutions (data → AI → application layer)

  • Developing agentic / multi-agent systems

  • Laying the groundwork for future AI hires and capability build-out
