Job Description

The **Advisor I, Rail Contracting** supports commercial rail strategies by executing sourcing activities that deliver competitive rail pricing, and enable safe, reliable, and cost-efficient rail movements.
**What Youβll Do**
+ Develop, negotiate, and manage rail agreements, including freight rates, third-party storage, transloading, and related services.
+ Participate in RFPs with rail carriers: gather business requirements, issue RFPs, analyze responses, and recommend optimal rail service and routing options.
+ Monitor rail market dynamics (pricing, competition, capacity) and align contracting decisions with operational and cost objectives.
+ Act as a business partner to internal stakeholders including operations, aligning rail policies, processes, and standards and resolving railcar movement and supply chain issues.
