Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced pharmacist to join our medical pharmacy team who will improve medication safety for patients within admissions and medicine.

Responsibilities

• Integrate within multidisciplinary teams and support guideline, protocol and service development across Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board.
• Undertake quality improvement initiatives, review clinical practice and processes, develop staff and patient education, and review incidents with relevant teams.
• Provide leadership and clinical expertise to other pharmacists and technicians within the IHC.
• Work as part of a ward-based team and across the wider East IHC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (or equivalent) and current registration as a pharmacist.
• Experience in a clinical pharmacist role with a keen interest in emergency medicine and admissions.
