**_Advanced Engineer Scientist for UOP LLC in Des Plaines, IL_**

**_Responsibilities:_**

+ Responsible for leading the identification and incubation of new concepts to support the commercialization of energy efficient technologies in Strategic growth areas like of Sustainable fuels and chemicals, and Carbon capture, utilization and sequestration.
+ Other job duties are to conduct all necessary materials and catalysis synthesis work, lab-scale experimental testing, data analysis and reviews.
+ Gain a fundamental understanding of catalyst science and how catalyst properties can be optimized to achieve better performance.
+ Interface with other UOP departments including other divisions of Research and Development, Pilot Plant Group, Analytical and Advanced Characterization, Business, and Catalyst Manufacturing Plants to ensure robust products for our customers.
