**Position Summary**

This position is an environmental air permitting, compliance role within the Environmental group, responsible for managing air permitting, monitoring, reporting, and other regulatory-required activities to ensure compliance with federal and state air quality regulations for coal-fired electric generation, natural gas generation projects, and RICE units across multiple facilities, projects, and sites. The role oversees permitting and compliance activities, manages outside environmental consultants, and is part of a team that assesses the impacts of existing and emerging environmental laws, regulations, and policies on FirstEnergy operations.
