Salary Range:
The βSTATβ level Clinical Support Nurse is responsible for identifying the patient's alterations in health, assessing the patient's human response to actual and potential health problems, implementing nursing interventions to achieve outcomes for the patient that facilitate homeostasis, and determining the effectiveness of nursing interventions. The STAT Nurse makes independent decisions/judgments and takes action regarding a wide range of routine and complex patient problems and situations based on protocol. They will collaborate with other disciplines as appropriate, to coordinate continuity of patient care in support of medical and nursing plans of care. The STAT Nurse acts to support patient care needs in any acute medical/surgical unit, intensive care unit, and Emergency Department.
