Job Summary:
The Administrative Assistant will support the Department of Neurology at Upstate Medical University. The incumbent will work closely with the Executive Assistant to the Chair to meet the administrative operations of the Neurology Department.
Responsibilities will include:
+ Physician recruitment and on-boarding of physicians and other providers; this will include working with recruitment firms, coordinating travel, preparing itineraries and working with multiple departments on campus.
+ Other duties include medical staff appointments, re-appointments and promotions, creation of complex clinical schedules for multiple clinical services, including input into scheduling software.
+ Incumbent will assist physicians with on-line profiles, update departmental web-site and prepare department newsletters, as needed.
