Job Description
The department of Epidemiology & Health Promotion at the NYU College of Dentistry is seeking an adjunct professor/instructor for the upcoming Fall 2024 semester, with opportunity for renewal. The course is βBiostatisticsβ and is offered as part of the MS program in Clinical Research. Biostatistics is a 3 credit course and is scheduled for one evening a week from 5:00PM to 730:PM. Alternative scheduling options are potentially available.
This course covers basic probability, descriptive and inferential statistics, and the role of biostatistics in the practice of clinical research. Specific attention will be given to common probability distributions in clinical research and medicine, t-tests, Analysis of Variance, multiple linear and logistic regression, categorical data analysis, and survival analysis.
