Overview


The Adjunct Instructor works with the Program Chair and Lead Course Instructor to teach program courses. The Adjunct Instructor is committed to equity, diversity, and inclusion and advises and supervises master’s degree candidates, actively participates in faculty collaborative learning, and demonstrates scholarly productivity.


Responsibilities


+ Teach graduate course sections (on campus and online) in one or more of the following areas

+ Middle school and high school mathematics methods courses

+ Curriculum and assessment in mathematics courses in grades 7-12

+ Mathematics content instruction


+ Courses are pre-designed in a standard format. Participation in an Adjunct/Full Time Instructors’ Online Learning Community is expected.

+ May supervise candidates during clinical practice.
