The School of Government hires part-time adjunct instructors with professional practice expertise to teach one or more online courses in our MPA program. Our online teaching model is structured such that a lead faculty member records the course content and develops the assignments. The adjunct instructor leads live sessions and is responsible for guiding students through the synchronous components of the course, providing an in-depth exploration of the material by incorporating their professional insights. Furthermore, the live session instructor is tasked with student communication, advising, and grading. Live sessions are conducted weekly for minutes over a -week term.
