Lesley University’s Graduate Department of Counseling & Psychology is seeking a qualified adjunct faculty member to teach: GCOUN 6029, Vocational Development and Career Counseling. October 17-19 and November 14-16, 2025. This course is taught fully in-person, on-campus.
Course Description: Vocational development is a lifelong process. Integral to this process is self-awareness, career awareness and assessment, career decision making and planning, and career implementation. This course prepares counselors to assist a variety of people in all stages of life development in their career planning and selection process. Career developmental theories and assessment tools are discussed.
Qualities and Capabilities- Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling or a related field, or a relevant terminal doctoral degree- Relevant teaching experience is preferred- Relevant professional licensure required- Commitment to integrating social justice practices into the c...
