Adjunct Faculty Open Rank - English (First-Year Composition)
**FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT**
The Department of English at Kingsborough Community College is seeking to hire Adjunct Lecturer, Adjunct Assistant Professor, Adjunct Associate Professor and Adjunct Professor levels to teach First-Year Composition starting in the fall 2026 semester. Preference will be given to applicants who have both strong credentials and teaching experience.
Adjunct faculty perform teaching, research and guidance duties in area(s) of expertise. They share responsibility for committee and department assignments including administrative, supervisory, and other functions.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
