Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Travels from Tokyo to North Japan

  • Continuously monitor system status, sensors, and data recording software during drives.

  • Identify and report any system malfunctions, data irregularities, or connectivity issues to the local coordinator.

  • Use a touchscreen interface to tag and categorize road objects and events such as:

  • Protruding or irregular objects

  • Road edges or markings

  • Car carriers and unique traffic conditions

  • Other relevant environmental or roadway occurrences
    • Data Handling & Backup
  • Manage storage media (SSDs, HDDs) during data collection sessions.

  • Operate data copying stations and verify that backups are completed successfully.

  • Support the automated data handling processes by ensuring correct labeling and safe transfer of data.
