• Collections: Monitor accounts regularly for overdue balances, send reminder notices or make phone calls to collect debt.
• Record Keeping and Reconciliation: Maintain accurate records of all AR transactions, reconcile AR ledger with the general ledger, prepare aging reports.
• Customer Relationship Management: Provide excellent customer service, resolve disputes or queries, maintain communication with customers regarding account status.
• Payment Processing: Record and apply incoming payments (checks, wire transfers, credit card payments, etc.), allocate payments correctly including adjustments, credits, and partial payments.
