Our client is one of the largest real‑estate development companies in Vancouver. A newly created, ground‑floor opportunity has arisen for a motivated CPA to serve as Accounting Manager, reporting directly to the Financial Controller. The role will initially cover all day‑to‑day accounting functions and will soon provide the opportunity to implement accounting policies and procedures and to staff the accounting team.

Responsibilities

Full‑cycle accounting, including journal entries and month‑end close.

Financial statement preparation and account reconciliations.

Assistance with budget preparation.

Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable functions until an accounting team is in place.

Qualifications

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with strong detail orientation.

Previous experience in real‑estate development preferred but not mandatory.

Ability to think creatively and work independently.
