We are looking for an Assistant Controller to lead core close and reporting activities for our finance organization in Salt Lake City, Utah. This role partners with senior finance leaders and cross-functional teams to deliver accurate financial information, strengthen accounting operations, and support informed business decisions. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting knowledge, leadership capability, and a proactive approach to improving processes and controls.
Responsibilities:
β’ Lead the monthly close cycle, ensuring deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule across assigned accounting areas.
β’ Oversee the preparation and review of journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules tied to balance sheet and income statement accounts.
β’ Safeguard the accuracy of the general ledger by confirming transactions are recorded in accordance with U.S. accounting requirements and internal policies.
