**Overview**

The Senior Accountant is responsible for applying accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information, prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements, and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures. This role has a strong emphasis on general accounting activities, including open purchase order (PO) accruals, G&A expense analysis, and account reconciliations.

**Responsibilities**

+ Contribute to the execution of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including completing reconciliations, escalation and resolution of issues, and meeting deadlines.
+ Prepare and record journal entries.
+ Maintain integrity of the general ledger.
+ Prepare and review open PO accruals to ensure completeness and accuracy of expenses incurred but not invoiced.
