Roles and Responsibilities

A. Financial Accounting The Accountant must: 1. Maintain accurate accounting records for the company. 2. Capture and review financial transactions on the accounting system. 3. Prepare monthly management accounts. 4. Prepare income statements, balance sheets, cash flow reports, and trial balances. 5. Ensure all transactions are correctly allocated to the correct accounts and cost centres. 6. Maintain the general ledger. 7. Process journals, accruals, provisions, and month-end adjustments. 8.
