Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant / Accountant to support both administrative operations and basic accounting functions in our insurance agency.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist clients in person, via phone, or email.
Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence with insurance companies and clients.
Maintain and organize client files, policy documents, and office records.
Manage accounts payable and receivable.
Handle invoice processing and track payments from clients and insurers.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
Qualifications:
A degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
2+ years of experience in administrative or accounting roles (insurance industry a plus).
Proficiency in QuickBooks or other accounting software.
