Position Overview


This position within the Corporate Accounting department will be responsible for performing accounting duties supporting various Shaw entities . This position includes managing relationships with divisional accountants or service providers and applying US GAAP accounting principles to prepare accurate and timely reporting and related analyses.


Responsibilities:
+ Prepare journal entries with adequate supporting documentation.
+ Monitor, maintain and reconcile intercompany accounts between the parent company and subsidiaries .
+ Draft reporting packages for the subsidiaries , or review and approve reporting packages provided by local accountants/3rd party service providers.
+ Manage month/quarter/year-end process to ensure all is accomplished on a timely basis to meet required deadlines internally and externally.
