Accountant – Bilbao HQ Office

Role Purpose: As a member of the Country Servicing Business Services Team, you will be responsible for accurately updating and maintaining accounting journals, ledgers and other records, recording accounting information, consolidation of data to assess accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Verify the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents and records.
• Ensure proper coding of invoices.
• Prepare journal entries.
• Check supporting entries.
• Enter data into ERP systems.
• Compile data and prepare a variety of financial reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in English (verbal and writing).
• Proficient in the local language of the country of base and main operations (verbal and writing).
• Additional languages are an asset.
