Number of Available Positions: 3-5
The Warren Hunting Smith Library is establishing a pool of applicants to fill our per diem (part-time) Access Services Technician position. The per diem employee may be filling in for a sick or vacationing worker either during the day or without direct supervision evenings and/or weekends or fulfilling a seasonal need. The candidate(s) will perform selected public services tasks in support of the overall library function.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Provides high-quality customer service to a diverse body of students, faculty, staff, and community members either in person, online, or by phone
+ Supervises student assistants and reports problems to a supervisor
+ Responsible for opening and/or closing the library, depending on the schedule
+ Uses the library’s integrated library system for various circulation transactions including but not limited to charging/ discharging library materials and registering c...
