Access team members are the face of UVA Health – you are often the first and last contact for our patients and your interactions set the tone for each patient visit to UVA. This patient-focused role is responsible and accountable for various aspects of the patient access experience, including, but not limited to, basic appointment scheduling, demographic and insurance data collection, cash collections, and addressing the various needs of patients and families either in person or on the phone.
