Position Summary

BCIT’s Academic Office is seeking two (2) regular, full-time (1.0 FTE) Academic and Research Funding Advisors. This role identifies and assesses funding opportunities, advises faculty, researchers and staff, guides the development and submission of competitive proposals and applications, ensuring compliance with institutional and funding agency policies, with an aim to enhance educational program delivery and research capacity. Collaborates with faculty and researchers to integrate knowledge of educational program and curriculum development into the design and operationalization of projects and programs to secure external funding, ensuring alignment with BCIT’s strategic priorities to create outstanding learning opportunities and support the creation of new educational programs and applied research projects.
