Job Description Summary
Is responsible for and accountable for managing all assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment; Is responsible for promoting positive relationships and teamwork among employees and between departments; Participates in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care; Is responsible and accountable for his/her own clinical practice as well as the quality and quantity of nursing care given by nursing personnel; Participates in the Pre-Anesthesia evaluation and education of patients prior to surgery or procedures requiring anesthesia.

QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Graduate of a school of nursing with current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Alabama.
LANGUAGE/ COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
+ Ability to communicate effectively in English, both in writing and verbally;
+ Ability to communicate effectively in an emergency situation.
