Purpose of the Role

The In-School Care Champion will be responsible for implementing the Adolescent and Youth Programme (AYP) in assigned schools and Safe Spaces. This includes delivering the AYP Core Package, facilitating referrals and service linkages, reporting Human Rights Violations, and supporting peer education and layered interventions to ensure consistent psychosocial and biomedical support to learners.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Deliver the AYP Core Package to learners across targeted schools and safe spaces.
• Accurately complete and submit referral forms to internal and external service providers.
• Track referral follow-ups and confirm service linkages in coordination with linkage officers and beneficiaries.
• Identify and report Human Rights Violations (HRVs) in a timely and confidential manner.
• Support In-School Supervisor and LSAs in executing planned school-based activities.
