What You’ll Do

At Veritas Prep, Middle School ELA/History Teachers play a critical role in ensuring all students develop the literacy, historical thinking, and academic confidence they need to thrive in high school, college, and beyond. As an ELA/History Teacher, you will co-advise a class of approximately 27 students alongside a Math/Science Teacher, sharing responsibility for both academic success and strong classroom culture.

You will plan and deliver rigorous, engaging instruction in reading, writing, and history that ensures every student—regardless of background—can access grade-level standards and produce high-quality work. In partnership with your co-advisor, you will build a joyful, structured classroom community where students of all identities feel safe, valued, challenged, and supported to meet ambitious goals.
