Position Overview 

The Yard Driver is responsive to the customer and local Lead/Supervisor regarding the movement and spotting of trailers to facilitate the needs of the warehouse in sorting and processing material for shipment or storage. The Yard Driver is responsible for timely movements and thorough knowledge of on-hand inventory and positioning. 

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

● Movement and spotting of trailers in a safe, efficient, timely and legal manner. ● Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles. ● Operate equipment, such as truck cab computers, CB radios, phones, or global positioning systems (GPS) equipment to exchange necessary information with bases, supervisors, or other drivers. ● Maneuver trucks into loading or...
