• Studies, evaluates and prepares opinions on the capabilities of the department to support strategic intent in terms of Engineering Infrastructure division and maintenance.
• Applying principles and statutory provisions related to protecting the environment and safety of the population to assess and interpret the applicability of the content of policy frameworks and related guidelines on project management of Engineering interventions with the varying levels of complexities in the built or developing or undeveloped environment in the region.
• Executes delegated responsibilities in respect of leading professional project teams from inception to completion and contributes to the identification and development of key professional Engineering skills.
