Job Description

Essential Job Functions

:
  • Coordinate and gather information for Special Services (referrals, eligibility, interventions, IEPs, and auxiliary services.
  • Perform applicable job junctions of Classroom Teacher.
  • Lead guidance activities with regular classrooms.
  • Conduct small groups for guidance/counseling.
  • Aid students' course and subject selection.
  • Obtain and disseminate career information to students and classes studying occupations.
  • Assist students in evaluating their aptitudes and abilities through the interpretation of individual standardized test scores and other pertinent data and work with students in evolving education plans in terms of such evaluation.
  • Work to discover and develop special abilities of students.
  • Facilitate interventions and adaptations for students with academic or learning problems.
